The 10-day Tanzania safari and Zanzibar package is our most complete offering — nine days exploring the northern circuit with maximum depth, followed by a domestic flight to Zanzibar for a one-night beach stay before departure. The nine safari days cover Tarangire over two nights, Lake Manyara, five nights in the Serengeti exploring multiple zones including the remote western corridor and northern migration area, and the Ngorongoro Crater. If you have the time and want to see Tanzania properly — the wildlife, the landscape, and the Indian Ocean coast — this is the package.

Day 1: Moshi → Tarangire National Park

Depart Moshi for Tarangire. Afternoon game drive. Overnight inside the park.

Day 2: Tarangire — Full Day
- Tarangire NP
Full day in Tarangire: morning and afternoon game drives exploring both the river corridor and the more remote southern zones. Overnight inside the park.

Day 3: Tarangire → Lake Manyara National Park

Morning drive from Tarangire to Lake Manyara. Full afternoon game drive covering the forest, floodplain, and lakeshore. Overnight near Lake Manyara.

Day 4: Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park

Morning around Lake Manyara, then drive through Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in Seronera. Overnight inside the Serengeti.

Full day in the Seronera valley: resident lions, kopje leopard, cheetah on the open plains. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti — Western Corridor (Grumeti)

Drive to the remote western corridor. The Grumeti River holds one of Tanzania's largest hippo populations and is a secondary migration crossing point. Few vehicles and very different terrain from the central Serengeti. Overnight in the western corridor.

Day 7: Serengeti — Northern Mara River Zone

Drive to the northern Serengeti for the Mara River crossing zone (July to October: primary migration river crossings; other months: resident northern plains wildlife). Overnight in the northern Serengeti.

Day 8: Serengeti — Northern Zone Full Day

Full day in the northern Serengeti. The northern area is less visited and the resident predator population — lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog — is well established year-round. Overnight in the northern Serengeti.

Day 9: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning drive from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for a full afternoon game drive. Big Five, black rhino, flamingos. Overnight on the crater rim.

Day 10: Ngorongoro → Serengeti Airstrip → Zanzibar → Departure
Optional early morning crater rim walk. Drive to the Serengeti airstrip for the domestic flight to Zanzibar (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes). Arrival in Zanzibar, transfer to a beach hotel. Afternoon and evening on the island before your international departure flight.
